first and foremost, congratulations!
You’re getting married! I hope you and your fiancé have been soaking up all the magic this time brings—dress shopping, dessert tasting, honeymoon dreaming. There is so much joy to be experienced during this time of life, and I hope you’ve both been loving it!
My dad owns his own photography business, and I shot a lot of weddings with him growing up. I have no idea what the brides thought of ten year old me, Minolta camera looped around my neck, rolls of film jammed in my pockets. But I was thrilled to work alongside my Dad, eagerly snapping away, documenting precious moments enthusiastically, and maybe a little awkwardly (those film cameras were heavy for my ten year old hands!).
But here’s the deal, I love this job. I love that I get to document your once in a lifetime moments and your every day moments. There’s magic in both. When days are long and it’s hard to see the magic, I hope these photos rekindle it for you. I hope they bring you light and joy and hope.
